Hasina Regime is trying to remain in power through intimidation marginalization and demonization of the Opposition. Not only the BNP but the Jamaat-e-Islami is also a formidable opposition force for Hasina. Thus the Regime is intimidating harassing and physically attacking Jamaat supporters as if the Jamaat is a terrorist and illegal political party ! Hasina's police and student front have been attacking the Jamaat and its student front Islamic Shibir across Bangladesh. This is an ominous political development similar to what happened in Germany under Hitler.
